Welcome to JohnyBean.com!
Like many drivers, Johny lives, breathes and eats Rallycross….
Johny won the overall BTRDA Supermodified category in 2010 with his BMW 325. In 2011 he contested a full campaign of the Swift Sport Rallycross Championship where he finished 6th overall out of 23 starters – Not bad for a first attempt! Johny also picked up a couple of podiums during his 2011 tour which visited Lydden Hill (ENG), Mondello Park (IRL), Blyton Park (ENG), Knockhill (SCO), Maasmechelen (BEL) and Croft Circuit (ENG).
Once again, Johny was invited to take part in the Autosport International Show (January 2012) where he showed off some racing demonstrations inside the Live Action Arena.
He is returning for the 2012 championship where he will compete in the awesome one-make MSA Suzuki Swift Rallycross Championship.
Johny Bean:
“My second full season of Rallycross has been put to bed on a high, we have had some fantastic results with the Swift and I personally have gained much more experience as a racing driver – We are back for 2012 and committing to another full season albeit with a new colour scheme, this time I hope to be bringing Charlie, my 14 year old son along to compete in the Junior Swift Sport Rallycross Championship. Also, my involvement in assisting with organisation of the 2011 MSA British Rallycross Grand Prix at Croft has led to much greater things and I am happy to announce that I have been elected Vice-Chairman of the Lydden Hill Motorsport Club, this effectively passes a lot of responsibility to me for the 2012 Monster Energy British Rallycross Championship which makes me immensely proud, from Clubman racer to vice-chair in less than 2 years! I hope to bring some good ideas to the table and look forward to working closely with the LHMC team! I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my fans, sponsors and friends for helping me live a dream!”
